The Film

77 Hours is a psychological thriller and political drama set across the nights of January 8 and 9, when Iran's streets become the scene of one of the darkest and bloodiest crackdowns in recent memory.

Unarmed and unprepared, ordinary people are trapped in chaos, gunfire, fear, and death. At the center is a man who is not a hero prepared for battle, but an ordinary person forced to survive in an inhuman catastrophe — surrounded by wounded civilians, security forces, and collapsing memories.

Through a tense, intimate narrative moving between streets, hospital corridors, hidden spaces, and broken recollections, the film explores survival, sacrifice, guilt, silence, and the fragile line between truth and fear.

Synopsis

What begins as an ordinary day in Tehran turns into a citywide nightmare. As streets close under violence and panic, civilians find themselves trapped in a public massacre they never expected to witness.

After being caught in the chaos, one man wakes in a sealed, unfamiliar space with no clear memory of how he arrived there. Around him are strangers carrying fragments of pain, confusion, and unanswered questions. Memory returns in flashes: a street, a body, a hospital corridor, a voice, a name.

77 Hours follows his struggle to understand what happened and whether escape is possible, while confronting impossible choices between saving himself and helping others, between silence and truth, and between fear and the last remaining pieces of courage.

Fragments

The street remembers what the city tries to erase.

Some wounds are treated. Some are hidden.
